Mantra Lawyers was founded in 2015 by Advocate Dr. Gokul Prasad Burlakoti as a sole proprietorship firm based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Advocate Burlakoti served in the legal sections of various ministries for more than a decade as a government official. He also served as the chairperson of Debt Recovery Tribunal of Nepal. He has authored more than a dozen books on law, public administration and general knowledge. He is also an academician.

Dr. Burlakoti has multiple university qualifications from the reputed universities of Australia, The Netherlands, and Nepal.
